Annual Christmas Slumber Party with the Vanwey Kids!

Well...Last year at our Christmas Slumber Party with our nieces and nephews we attempted to make what ended up being a poor excuse for a Gingerbread house, so this year we thought that Gingerbread Christmas Trees may work out a little better, and boy did they. We were able to turn this in to a friendly little decorating competition between the boys and the girls and what started with edible icing and candies turned in to anything in the house being fair game. There was glitter, ribbon, tree skirts and I am sure many other things that added some great finishing touches. We let Kim and Keith judge the trees but there was not a named winner. But I do have to say the boys had a pretty good looking tree.
